Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean medical claims to insurance companies with 95% accuracy rate
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits for all insurance types
- Manage denial resolution and appeals processes
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Generate daily/weekly reports on billing performance metrics
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Utilize Epic EMR and NextGen billing software efficiently
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a physician practice or hospital setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Experience with EOB analysis and claim adjustments
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software
- Excellent communication skills for patient and insurer interactions
- Ability to handle high-volume claim processing with precision
