As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and recreational activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition or concerns to the care team immediately.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or walking with assistance.
- Take vital signs (blood pressure, pulse) as trained and document care logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required (we will train you).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have a genuine passion for helping the elderly and those in need.
