Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time and report any changes in health to the nursing staff.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Companionship: Provide friendly conversation and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness.
- Household Assistance: Light housekeeping, laundry, and running errands as needed to maintain a safe environment.
- Mobility Support: Help clients with walking, transferring, or using wheelchairs safely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Passionate, patient, and compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Basic understanding of first aid and CPR is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
