Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship through engaging conversation, recreational activities, and transportation to appointments
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinators
- Administer medications and medical treatments as per care plans
- Implement fall prevention strategies and maintain safe home environments
- Document care activities and maintain detailed client records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or certified nursing assistant (CNA) license
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Compassionate demeanor with patience and cultural sensitivity
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Clear background check and drug screening required
