Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Provide reminders and assistance with medication as directed by physicians.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and accompany clients on outings or medical appointments.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and report any changes in health status to the nursing supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Certification: Current state certification or license (if applicable) required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid ID: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.
