Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and track daily health logs.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in client behavior or health to the supervising nurse.
Qualifications
- Valid California Driverβs License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or Personal Care Assistant is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
