Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities.
- Administer medication as directed by the client's physician or care plan.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience in home health, caregiving, or the medical field is a plus but not mandatory.
