Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support.
- Engage in meaningful conversation and social activities to improve the client’s emotional well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the on-call nursing supervisor immediately.
- Document care provided accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and daily logs.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings using personal vehicle.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) license required (Wisconsin).
- Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with seniors and families.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in geriatric care or home health is preferred but not required.
- Computer literacy for remote administrative tasks and documentation.
