Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients' health status for any changes.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, or community outings.
- Document daily care logs and communicate effectively with family members and nursing staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience in home health, hospice, or nursing assistance is preferred but not required.
