Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to supervisors
- Offer companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Maintain accurate care documentation and follow care plans
- Perform errands and shopping for client needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Compassionate nature with strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
