Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document care notes accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Administer medications following care plan protocols
- Engage clients in meaningful social and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Collaborate with care coordinators and family members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
