Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately using provided automated dispensing systems
- Prepare IV solutions and sterile compounds using advanced compounding equipment
- Manage inventory with barcode scanning systems and automated ordering tools
- Operate prescription verification software and electronic health records
- Maintain sterile environments with provided cleanroom equipment
- Process insurance claims through integrated pharmacy management systems
- Train on new equipment technologies as implemented
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Experience with automated dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis, Omnicell)
- Proficiency in prescription verification software
- Knowledge of sterile compounding equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently with provided technology
- Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license
