Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any anomalies to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately in our digital portal.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA or Home Health Aide certification (HHA) is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and negative TB test results.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills for logging patient data remotely.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screening clearance.
