Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via telephone and secure video platforms.
- Evaluate symptoms and provide clinical recommendations or appropriate referrals.
- Screen incoming calls to determine urgency and direct patients to the appropriate care level.
- Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly in the EMR system.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Stay current with clinical guidelines, protocols, and telehealth best practices.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (or compact state).
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in triage or telehealth preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
