Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities safely
- Document care plans and maintain detailed client records
- Companion care including conversation, light housekeeping, and emotional support
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Current Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aide certification
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills and empathy-driven approach
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Experience working with clients with dementia or mobility challenges preferred
