Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Oversee inventory control and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain immaculate operatory setup and equipment maintenance
- Coordinate treatment scheduling and patient flow optimization
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification with current credentials
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management systems
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
