Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, vitals checks, and medical histories accurately.
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures as directed.
- Prepare and maintain medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests (phlebotomy).
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage front desk reception duties.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or ambulatory setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
