Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring sterility and equipment functionality
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow, scheduling, and insurance verification
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active CMA (AAMA) or RMA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-volume environment
- Oklahoma medical assistant license in good standing
