Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, including vital signs, medical history collection, and medication reconciliation.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately, ensuring timely documentation and data integrity.
- Prepare and administer medications, injections, and point-of-care testing as directed by providers.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventative care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting (preferred).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records systems (Epic, Athenahealth, etc.).
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on patient empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.
