What You Will Do:
As a Medical Assistant, you will be the face of our practice, ensuring our patients feel comfortable and cared for. You will work closely with our providers to deliver high-quality clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with draping and positioning.
- Record patient medical history, symptoms, and vital signs accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications as directed by physicians, and prepare blood samples for lab testing.
- Perform basic EKGs and assist with minor office procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to strict HIPAA regulations.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient check-in processes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
