Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and vital signs in EHR systems
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Administer medications and immunizations per protocols
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Coordinate patient education and care instructions
- Facilitate smooth patient flow and appointment management
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS certification required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
