Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Manage electronic health records (Epic EMR) documentation
- Coordinate patient education materials and appointment scheduling
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (AAMA or NCCT)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in cardiology/primary care
- Proficiency in venipuncture and ECG procedures
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
