Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history documentation accurately.
- Assist providers during examinations and medical procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment to ensure infection control.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage front desk administrative duties.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
- Handle insurance verification and patient follow-up calls professionally.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or MA (Medical Assistant) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when assisting patients.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
