Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist providers with patient examinations, vitals, and clinical procedures.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient check-ins, update electronic health records (EHR), and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Preparation: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean clinical environment.
- Lab Work: Perform basic laboratory tests, including phlebotomy and EKGs, following strict safety protocols.
- Communication: Act as the liaison between patients and the healthcare team, answering questions and ensuring comfort.
- Inventory: Monitor and restock medical supplies and medications.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification.
- Licensure: BLS/ACLS certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in EMR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Location: Must be willing to work in San Francisco, CA.
