Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, health assessments, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Greet patients warmly, manage check-in and check-out processes, and maintain a clutter-free reception area.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterilization protocols.
- Manage patient records by accurately entering data into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and lab test scheduling.
- Provide patient education on medications and post-procedure care instructions.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
