Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and prepare patients for examination.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures, including injections and minor office surgeries.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and perform basic administrative duties such as scheduling and insurance verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy healthcare setting.
