Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health status accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning using proper techniques
- Administer medications under supervision and report any changes in condition
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in care planning meetings to ensure personalized resident care
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling availability
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and care documentation standards
