Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with medical procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure patient safety and infection control protocols are followed
- Support patients with activities of daily living in a dignified manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
