Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition changes
- Assist with medical procedures and equipment preparation as directed
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and inventory supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana CNA certification required
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
