Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care and clinical assessment.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the charge nurse or provider.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient progress, medications administered, and responses accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Assist patients and families with discharge planning and education.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio (or eligible for multi-state licensure).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in computerized charting systems.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
