Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meals and ensure proper hydration/nutrition
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Document care activities accurately in patient records
- Support emotional well-being through patient interaction
- Transport patients safely for procedures and activities
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA protocols
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
