Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic CNA to assist our nursing staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services. In this role, you will be the bridge between our patients and the clinical team, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or transfer techniques.
- Administer medications and document patient responses accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies within established protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of North Carolina.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
