Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient intake/output, and other clinical data
- Assist with patient feeding and nutritional needs
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures under nursing supervision
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Communicate patient status changes effectively to nursing staff
- Document care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
