Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Assess patient health needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide high-quality nursing interventions.
- Vital Monitoring: Monitor patient vital signs and medical charts to detect changes in health status, reporting abnormalities immediately.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communication: Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical charts in compliance with hospital standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blues and emergency situations within the hospital.
Qualifications
- License: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the United States (Texas preferred).
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients and staff.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
