Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain clean patient environments
- Transport patients safely within facility using proper equipment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a clinical setting
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear TB test and background check
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights/weekends
- Reliable transportation to Memphis healthcare facilities
