Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care in accordance with established care plans.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Support patient mobility, including transfers, walking, and positioning to prevent complications.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, medications, and shifts.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient dignity and respect.
