Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility using appropriate assistive devices.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and patients' families to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Ohio CNA Certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited provider.
- Previous experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a focus on dignity and respect.
