Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper techniques.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and supervising physician.
- Document all care activities and patient interactions accurately.
- Administer medication as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Ohio CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
