Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and report changes to clinical staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer medications under supervision and maintain accurate medical records
- Support patients with activities of daily living in home care and facility settings
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Michigan CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Clear criminal background check and negative TB test
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in diverse environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation for assignments across Detroit metro area
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
