Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using wheelchairs, walkers, or stretchers.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients.
- Communicate patient status and changes to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including positioning and draping.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform duties requiring standing and lifting.
- Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety protocols.
