Job Overview:
As a CNA at Elite Healthcare Staffing, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with nurses and medical staff to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Document patient care activities, updates, and changes in condition accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR/AED certification (if not included in BLS).
