Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist patients with mobility challenges, utilizing walkers, wheelchairs, and other transfer devices safely.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with RNs, LPNs, and physicians regarding patient status, concerns, and care updates.
- Assist with feeding and hydration needs for patients who require assistance.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine passion for helping others.
