Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic bedside care and comfort measures to patients and their families.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
Qualifications
- Current Georgia CNA Certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients frequently throughout the shift.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient-first attitude.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
