Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent bedsores.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and patient families regarding patient conditions and changes in status.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record system.
- Support the nursing staff with medication administration and wound care as directed.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the state of Arizona (required).
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Compassionate attitude and a genuine desire to help improve the quality of life for patients.
