Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Assist in emergency response situations and code blue activations
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN) from an accredited program
- Valid Michigan RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Recent graduation (within last 12 months) or <1 year clinical experience
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
