Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Emergency Departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in shift reports and handoffs ensuring continuity of care
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado RN license (or compact license eligible for endorsement)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire
- Graduation from accredited nursing program within last 12 months
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
