Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to nursing staff.
- Assist patients with daily living activities (ADLs) and ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with health and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification in the state of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient transfers.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
