Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and care progress
- Support nursing staff with clinical procedures and patient preparation
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current California CNA certification (or enrollment in approved program)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate patient care approach
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
