Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transferring, and positioning to prevent falls.
- Document patient care plans, daily activities, and changes in condition in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA Certification in the state of Texas.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
