Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and safely transfer them between beds, wheelchairs, and chairs.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to update patient care plans and document daily observations.
- Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure comfort and understanding.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia (required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate electronic health record systems.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting/transferring patients.
